About Us

Lotus Dining was created in 2012 by innovator Michael Jiang. Michael dreamed of owning a restaurant that conjured the food memories experienced in his childhood. Through passion and dedication he purchased a restaurant space on Hickson Road Walsh Bay, which would become Lotus Dumpling Bar. He toiled over the design, building a dream and a memory. The marriage of cooking excellence and creativity was the gold dust required to create the first of many venues.

Over the years, Lotus has grown into 7 restaurant spaces around Sydney ranging from casual dining experience to more decadent offerings. Michael has grown his love of food and passion for business into one of the most successful Chinese restaurant businesses in Sydney.
