Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: A Message from Lotus Dining
Today, Lotus Dining Group have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the majority of their venues.
Chinese restaurants have been hit especially hard since the COVID-19 outbreak started 3 months ago. As with the rest of the industry, they have been devastated by the unprecedented drop in patronage.
This decision was not made lightly and is the result of a number of external challenges following the escalation of the virus and the preventative measures put in place.
We aim to sustain the business into the future and give it longevity for our incredible staff and loyal guests as our people are at the heart of what we do. We remain optimistic that in time, we can welcome our valued guests back into our venues for signature handmade dumplings and modern Chinese cuisine.
Our flagship venue, Lotus Barangaroo will remain open as a shining beacon of innovation for modern Chinese cuisine and a reminder to all patrons that these trying times are temporary.
Venues included in this closure: Bund, Lotus The Galeries, The Gardens by Lotus, Madame Shanghai, Lotus Dumpling Bar and Bings.
